Are the Nissan supercharged V6 engines in the 4x4 frontiers very reliable? I am thinking of buying a 4x4 and I really like the Supercharged Frontier. Are they a reliable truck in general?

well, i'm having a terrible experience with my altima.

nissan build quality is not as good as toyota's. don't think that it is just because they're both japanese, like i did.

on my altima, the paint chips easily, the body dents all the time, the carpet isnt in right, and the engine feels like its losing a lot of horsepower, and its only 2 1/2 years old, and serviced at the dealer every 3 months.

unfortunately, i dont think there is a better small truck on the market than the frontier. the tacoma just doesnt seem as sturdy, and american ones are a bit too hillbilly.

look up jdpower and associates consumer reviews/professional reviews of the truck.

from what i hear, nissans can be very reliable, but they have more lemons on the road than any other company, so it is a bit of a gamble.

good luck.

Its a Nissan so im sure its fine. I would check the reviews of it and check the long term reviews of it too. Supercharger is better for reliability over a turbo though so you can probably go over 100k miles with it, without a problem.

It is reliable. Mainly because the supercharger barely pumps any air. That truck only makes 210 horsepower. With such a low amount of boost, the parts are not strained too badly. It will make a good amount of torque though, and that is why people buy them. Go for it. They are decent trucks.

No, too many moving bits. you tried to get something fixed in guatamala?
