I read this book back when I was in sixth grade which means it can't have been a very dense or thick one...And it might have been published in the late 90's.
Anyway, the plot of the story:
It takes place in the future and centers around virtual games. Two siblings create virtual reality games that allow the players to become involved in the game. The catch is that if a person dies in the game, they go into a coma in real life. The two siblings have many enemies, and someone apparently tampered with their most recent games so that people who buy them immediately start going into comas. The plot revolves around the siblings' attempts to catch whoever messed with their game codes as they enter their own games to find the culprit....
