I may try taking some painkillers to knock me out, but I have a hunch that all these things do is make me aggressive or reckless. Every time I take em for something or other they have that effect. CRAP. VOMIT. HATE. CANCER.
And I am having mild adrenaline spikes like every 30 seconds. ? ? ?
Well as far as the adrenaline, I often have that effect on women so thats normal... LOL, *dont punch me?*
First and foremost, you have to consciously try to slow down a bit. How wound up you are is even coming through the keyboard right now so that doesnt exactly say ready for beddy, lol.
I have similar problems. My mind gets to racing with thoughts about things that happend to me that day, that week... when I was 12... next thing I know its 4am and I haven't slept a wink.
I wish I could help, honestly. I will say that if the painkillers have THAT effect on you I'd hold those off until you have absolutely no other option. What about getting a glass of milk? Sounds silly but that little bit of carbs and slow digesting protein go a long way toward settling your metabolism down without leaving you full....
Thanks for caring Big M. Milk isn't an option because I can't tolerate the stuff...when I have milk, I do one of two things or both: I have an attack akin to mild epilepsy, or I start vomiting.
OK, no milk. Milk BAAADDD... forget I mentioned it. Vodka then?
Actually you're not doing badly at all. What I like to do sometimes is math, believe it or not. I'll just lay in bed and start adding things. Or I'll lay there and visualize myself in class doing my form or whatever... just lame, easy things like that. I'll run through grocery lists or i'll bust out the shakespear... thats the heavy duty sleep-aide right there, lemme tell ya, lol.
Well, for what its worth, its only 9pm here so I can keep you company for a couple more hours if it'll help
Are you a diabetic or something? I mean, crashing off a sugar rush can possibly work... same as cranking the caffiene and then letting yourself crash from that but I wouldnt recommend either...
Have you tried some deep breathing? Or, in a more drastic approach, beat the ever-loving snot out of something (or someone)... that usually leaves ya drained, lol...
