Lol I think one of my weaknesses is I do exactly that - use sheer strength rather than technique. I can do that with the smaller guys but there is a limit.

Just did them, 5 pronated and 5 supinated before completely failing. Video is poo, you can't see much of me except my back muscles straining like deranged worms, want me to share anyway?

Everyone does at the start, hell I still try and fail to do it. I know this is only a short course so is everyone there starting out? I've only just started trying to use sweeps but there are some really effective simple ones that work on much bigger people. Scissor sweep is one that newbies normally don't know how to defend and is pretty simple, and on the bottom in half guard or side control if you knock their knee(s) in towards you with one elbow and hit your other arm into thier neck/side of the head that works really well.

Bad description, I'll try and find a video if you want, but we've just had a blue belt come back from Brazil who was using that one on purple belts and sweeping them and I've used it on someone about 20 kilos heavier.

No need Southpaw. The quality does not have to be fantastic. Phones have pretty good quality video available now. Editing can be done through windows media player. Easy.

Missed out on a primark job because I can't do a simple basic math problem, apparently I'm "under qualified" for KFC despite probably having more qualifications than the store manager and the enormous red flag I keep getting because I don't have any work history.

Job hunting is the most frustrating pain in the ass.

Also MAP's language filter. I had to delete a good five words from this.

EDIT: And it still caught me out

Cheers, I might ask you for one trying to keep them away from college since my attendance is aound 60%. I need a printer. A printer and a CV. Birthday pressies sorted then
