I took 2 Mg tablets and I stopped having the massive dumps. I don't think it's a placebo effect because that rarely works on me. I've taken painkillers expecting them to work and had 0 effect...
I severely regret seeing that stupid quack when I first got that problem. I was 17, and although I'm mostly ok now, I still have the attacks occasionally. I don't mind adrenaline dumps during the day because I can use them for lifting fuel, but I do mind being kept awake until 6 am. (lol)
An endocrinologist would probably have diagnosed that in 2 seconds. Instead I saw someone who just told me to stop listening to so much death metal.
