You get sick swimming in the Cam too. I'm guessing from the beard he was from 'up north, Durham or maybe St Andrews
Today's real GRRRRR is shopping queues. I was standing in Sports Direct waiting for a mum and her little uns to finish in the changing room and after 7-8 minutes (but felt like twice that) another family who knew I was there went in. Standing right in front of the door.
The moral of this story is a) be completely obnoxious and stand 2 inches from the changing room door thereby dispelling any doubt as to who goes next (even if they only have saloon bar doors which you can see over); b) don't be thrown by being the only single shopper in the room, your money is damn well as good as anyone elses, off with you you breeders; c) only buy what you went in there for in the first place - I got my tennis balls for thoracic mobility work, don't give in to these shops and their evil ways to make you spend more money!

Time and how few people I know. Very annoying. At least it's Sunday tomorrow so I can finally ask the archery group about insurance, sponsorship, and things like costs and venue for the archery tag group I wanna start up. I still can't find anybody to take part with me to help set it up though, or to go with me to ice skating, rock climbing, fencing, or anything else I wanna take up. I can go on my own for all of it bar rock climbing, but line dancing needs four people for the course, me and a friend are all that's going so far, and there needs to be two people for the rock climbing taster.
Bah.

See if the rock climbing place runs an intro course. They're a good way to learn more of the basics that the taster sessions and you might just meet a potential climbing partner that way, or at least they'll get you the basic skills and then you can advertise at the centre for a partner.
The taster course is for a minimum of two people, else I wouldn't worry about it. Will have to look into the other rock climbing place, which is closer but more difficult to get to unless I can get a lift (compared to the one in Cardiff, which is primarily bouldering which I'm more interested in trying, and is further away but easy to get to by bus.)

3.30 in the arvo, just took the dog for a walk and noticed the four bags of recycly stuff and big food bag are still rotting by the side of the house. Facepalm moment, bank holiday Monday. Le sigh. Hope the chavs don't find it before the binmen

Dear Mother Nature,
I know you must keep the cosmic balance, but you please in the future not gift stupidity to some individuals. I'm not asking for everyone to be the next genius, but please instill some common sense into some people. To make my case, I have this girl in my math class. Let me give you a break down of what she does.
- Talk constantly
- Never asks for help
- Never listens
- Can't stop talking about guys
- Complains on the day of the test that the teacher never went over it
- Ignores the teacher and gives her crap
- Invades my personal space and is condescending to half the class.
This is but a few negative traits that she had. Granted, no one is perfect, but there should be a limit on how idiotic one can be. Another thing, to put it nicely, is that she slathers makeup or whatever the hell it is on her face and wears skimpy clothing in an attempt to attract the guys, when in reality she just looks like the rear end of a donkey.
She is not the only one either. There other many individuals who seem to have missed a couple key components when they were being made. Please, I urge you, attempt to instill more common sense into more individuals, as we seem to be lacking it these days.
