Maybe. The problem is being consistant all the time. Which is hard. My daughter is becoming very independent and not as easy to control as to the right behaviour. By the same token she's not yet old enough to really understand what's going on. A bit older and we could have rules in place. A bit younger and she wouldn't be as hands on with him and easier to keep in one room.
Just one little slip and it could happen.
The last time he growled at her we were sat 2 foot away so even monitoring what's going on and being in the same room isn't a guarantee.
Even with a muzzle he's big enough to hurt her it he went for her.
I just feel that he'd get a better life with another owner that wouldn't have the same worries as us. As it is I'm already being overly harsh with him and trying to keep him restricted to one room.
An awful situation all round really. None of the choices are nice ones.
If you think your dog is a danger to your child then have it re-homed. If you don't you could loss them both. Your dog will adjust to it's new home. So stop wasting time.
Not wasting time mate.
The rescue people are juggling things to make space for him and we'll vaccinate him before he goes to them (he's already chipped and neutered).
GRRRRR! Monster leg (particularly hamstring) DOMS. Now I have to decide whether to have an easy day and just do a walk and some mobility work, or do a good warm up and the HIIT session I had planned... I don't want to overdo it and have to skip tomorrow's deadlift session.
People who include their martial arts rank in their facebook name e.g. Johnny Bravo (Shihan Johnny Bravo). Anyone who cares about your martial arts rank will already know who you are. This is especially annoying when its done by low dan grades as well.
I may do a walk or an easy jog and some farmers walks (I really need to work on my grip more), some mobility work and foam rolling and skip the sprints I was going to add in.
on that note, i'd recommend trying bent presses for your shoulders. they seem to have worked wonders on my left one. with kettlebells, ideally, due to the way the weight sits in relation to the arm.
