Not really a grrrr, but there is no thread entitled 'I am mildly annoyed that...' and I don't intend to create one, so here goes:
I am mildly annoyed that rippetoe seems to have removed much of his customary profanity and acerbic wit from his book. I dearly love profanity and hate to see a good man bowdlerised. Otherwise, I am in love with the book. God DAMN it's awesome.

GRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR!!! Stupid iPad!

A friend of mine had posted something on her wall, part Chinese and the rest saying "RIP", not recognising the characters I went to copy them so I could paste into a translator, it wouldn't let me copy and, instead I accidentally clicked "Like"...

Never have I "unliked" anything with such speed...

Stupid iPad...

I've been drenched on both judo days this week, Tuesday coming home, it was so wet my gi had water marks from my bag and my jacket was unwearable the next day, Thursday going to class, had the joy of putting on wet clothes after class. Erghh

I can't par-tay anymore. its just gone two and all I want to do is go to sleep, but I'm at a friend's so have to wait until its over! I may not make it through the night...

Just.... just life in general. I keep saying to myself "you know that kind of hot feeling between your temples? that's shame, you worthless sod..." but I never seem to get the message. It just makes me want to take up smoking again. One problem- I don't have any money and I'm too idle to get my motorbike going and go into town.
I appreciate none of this is in any coherent order or makes any sense. So sue me.

Thanks. My Chemistry exam is going to kill me. Moles, Solubility, Gas Laws, Conversions, Absolute Zero, Organic Chemistry, ughhhhhhhh...........

Seriously, Alkane, Alkene, and Alkyne??? They couldn't come up with better names? Don't even get me started on the IUPAC naming and Isomer madness......

Don't get me wrong, I love Chemistry, I just find some of the "rules" and such annoying. If you want me to name a subject I hate, it'd be Geography/History.

Really? I can't stand it. I think the reason why is that I've been studying Canadian history for the past 5-6 years. That, and I hate maps. There is a reason we invented GPS's.

The only thing I find fascinating is how cultures develop over time, and how the adapt and change in response to external/internal forces. Something like Anthropology.

I didn't really enjoy history in school (apart from the ancient stuff), but have developed more of an interest in it since leaving. I also like anthropology. My sister did her degree in Evolutionary Anthropology, which is fascinating (particularly the dietary stuff - at least it is for me).

I always loved physical geography - it probably helps that I find it really easy to learn so could always do well in the exams with minimal effort.
