Right now I am ignoring a pressure vacuum inside my face from a moral that probably has an infected nerve. It will only cost me three months salary to correct with dental insurance. TEAM USA!

I find the sleep deprivation and MAP to be very therapeutic though.
 
I think that may just be classed as 'red flag' behaviour.... and the less they know about how I got my latest marks the better. I'm not sure what excuse I'll have for the girls at Judo, I better learn to get my gi on really fast!
 
I'm not sure this is a grr or not. Turns out I didn't have to worry about my black eye showing up at work, 'cos I've actually got two (thanks, latefordinner). Long as I keep my glasses on it looks like I've just been on a three day bender. It's mostly a mixed blessing post...
 
I just lost a friend over the stupidest thing. Never ever let friends borrow money and never ever expect friends to return kindness when its inconvenient for them.
 
Never ever be kind to someone expecting the favour to be returned. You will be disappointed. Instead be kind because it's the right thing to do. If your friends are unreliable then don't rely on them in a tight spot.
 
Very true. And I dont. Hell I dont even ask for help, I usually handle my own business. I made the mistake of asking someone to help me with something they could have easily helped with and instead I got a world of grief. Yet, for the last ten years every time this person has been on an emotional ledge, I've talked him down. Hours and endless hours over this girl or that girl, this employee or that employee (he owns his own companies - plural. Brings home about a million a year). In the car, at work, at home in the morning, at night, it was exhausting. Asked this guy for one favor and he treated me like absolute dirt.

Lesson learned. I knew there was a reason I never asked for help. I should thank him for the reminder. Thing is, it was such a small thing. It wasn't money or anything like that. At first he was all for it, but then, when I expected him to come through as promised he tried to play it off as I only ever befriended him for his money. I laughed at that because I knew him when he made $24k a year selling cars at Carmax. In fact, come to think of it, he actually owes ME money!

LMAO - now THATS rich! I wish I would have remembered that prior to telling him to go pound sand! TOO FUNNY!!!
 
One other thing: Unfortunately you often dont KNOW they're unreliable UNTIL you try to rely on them. It's an expensive, often sour lessen. Thats what happened here. I thought he was the man he claimed to be. But the minute that got put to the test, his true colors came out.

I guess I feel like a sap for not seeing it earlier. Color me naive I suppose, but I often believe people when they say things, lol...
 
Haha. That sucks that your coworkers are so douchey about your recreation man. If I were you, I'd just pretend there were no bruises and that everyone who said otherwise was a crazy person. Or tell them I had given up MA and taken a shine to the S&M scene.
 
I'm sorry ya lost a friend Mikey. Unfortunately, you only really know somebody when you strip away their comforts and you've seen them at their worst.
