Things that make you go :-)) take two!

It's a beautiful sunny day here and I've got an hour free this morning for a run along the grassy banks of the River Trent

'hey girl, hurry up and write ye number down fore i don't want it no more'

Student loan statement showed up today. Why about it? Because I know I have absolutely no chance in hell of ever getting to £15k/year to even start paying back the £14k!

Got praised in front of the entire class for being able to successfully reverse a 40kg heavier guy off me...LOL. Felt connective tissue all along my core threaten to tear, but I could do it. Haha. This little atomweight doesn't break.

I had a day of punching things at the gym, focus pad, heavy bag. I was doing the math and reckon I did 180 punches to the (held) heavy bag in a minute!

My arms will be jelly tomorrow

Can't get enough of this song, and I know you're all gonna hate me for it but I don't care xD

I have VICIOUS oblique DOMS from doing said reversals, but that's kinda good. I've always wanted a huge thick oblique ridge a la Cyborg Santos.

Grateful to the guy I was training with for not taking any weakness from me just because I'm light. Can't say the same for that substitute sensei, he won't even let me lift the mats out without help...yes, he has crazy antiquated views...makes me want to either yawn or powerbomb slam someone to prove a point. I'll pick yawn because it's less damaging

Did one of my normal runs down by the Trent. The river was so still it was like a mirror, there wasn't a soul about and the swans were serenely gliding through the foot or so of mist that was starting to form over the water. Just beautiful. 4.5 miles at a nice relaxed pace taking time to look around.

If you ever go to a gym to run do yourself a favour and find your nearest bit of green open space and go there instead.

Went for a walk near by where we are staying at the moment and found a nice trail through the forest and down by the lake. I'm planning on trying to fit in some runs round there at some point, as well as a bit of swimming/paddling when the weather warms up and a picnic on the shore.

Used to love cycling along the Huddersfield canal when it was like that, Mitch. Though I rode along the canal most days it was rides like that which totally relaxed me.

still keeping my running speed after not having jogged for years. as far as my lungs go, though... to the grrr-cave!

Start 531 on Monday.

While I feel 531 isn't the be all and end all, like many do, it allows me to do a lot of conditioning and gives me plenty of structure.
