Things that make you go :-)) take two!

Got another two apprenticeship applications done last night before training. Lets see if I hear back from Caterpillar

Not when I'm still employed working in a Learn Direct centre and the apprenticeships are in welding/fabrication, toolmaking and initial ops

Didn't get a foot cramp at the gym tonight. Maybe the magnesium supplement really does work!

Weighed myself after Metal Militia and though my max bench hasn't improved, still hovering at 50kg I've lost 3kg in 10 days, and still managed a block deadlift at 135kg yesterday

Partially matting my garage last night as the first step to turning it into a mini dojo.
Slight downer is that my house now smells like flip-flops.

Realised that Google Earth has aerial photos of my area from 1945 on it. Interesting to say the least!

wi-fi!

buying purple things!

exercise!

being covered with dog drool by the neighbour's dog!

being covered with dog drool by a random dog that was on the bus!

philosophizing!

reading!

yay!

also got grrs, but i'll keep them to myself so as not to spoil the mood

box squats tough but i managed to go up from 20-50kg in 5kg increments and keep form, all told 70 reps. i dunno if this will teach me bad form but i definately wasn't bouncing out the bottom of the squat. the 50s were tough though

My two best friends wedding anniversary was on the 7th. I bought them a lovely couple of beautiful glittery candleholders for their gift

Just had one of the tastiest meals in my life, at a small Ethiopian place in Stockholm. I've no idea what it was I had, I asked them to recommend something and got a medium spicy, lamb dish with some sort of puffy fermented (I think) bread (no cutlery - you use the bread to eat the meat and mop up the gravy) and their coffee was to die for! I may also be slightly tipsy still, as I had a whole glass of Ethiopian honey wine!

MORE INTERNET!!!

also, used a credit card for the first time! (paying for groceries)

and my first (stupidly simple ) exchange fully in norwegian!

grocerie store chick: hei!
me: hei!
*after paying*
gsc: *something* pose? (asking if i want a bag)
me: uhhh... ja
gsc: *something* kvittering? (receipt)
me: uhhh... ja
*after putting everything in the bag*
gsc: *unintelligible greeting*
me: hadet!

then i gained 10 EXP.

on less silly news, norway has a healthy ozone layer!. i am beginning to TAN (le gasp!).
