I was of course talking about a kettlebell snatch... and I could have posted a nice clip of Karen Smith doing a double KB snatch for the guys, but to learn something it has to be Steve, makes it look so easy
How to avoid banging your wrist in Kettlebell Snatch-Steve Cotter - YouTube
If you can recommend a youtube clip would appreciate as there are just so many online and I know that I'm doing it wrong to some extent. Even the high pull feels awkward on the left side. I do have a little L/R imbalance. On Windmills I managed only 8 on the left but 10 on the right at the 50 second interval
word! they have some at the gym i'm going to, so i might try to learn the KB snatch to work my back and core a bit more. i can already tell it's gonna look funny as hell, given how i start pacing around new things while studying them intently before picking them up
I spent a few weeks at a RKC club training with a guy called phil who is apparently some hotshot in KB world, I barely know any vids/people TBH, I only use mine for Accesory/conditioning work.
Other stuff thats making me smile: family all being together, a supportive girlfriend, actually sleeping well last night, knowing that in the grand scheme of things I'm doing alright, going to the gym soon for a 'testing session', a good group of mates and Chinese food.
