You've just described the place I worked when I was doing eye research - it used to get so hot in some of the rooms that the gels for the genetics PCR work wouldn't set! Oh and in Oceanography we used to fight over who was doing GCMS in summer because it was the only room with air-conditioning and that was only because the machines needed to be kept cool!
Just came back from a photo shoot. Outside, whilst slightly chilly, was amazing. Also found out that my Dad had a polarized filter, so I got to take that out for a spin as well. Feeling pretty boss right now haha!
My cat, this afternoon, when I went out into the garden for a bit of a lie in the sun (got to get my vitamin D in). He thought it was marvellous and came over to help - which involved him rolling round next to me, purring his little furry head off and snuggling up for a stroke.
He then proceeded to show me what a big brave chappy he is when another cat came into the garden. He stalked up to it, hissed and spat and then swiped at it - of course normally he runs the other way, but his cowardly side decided that because his mum was 2ft behind him, he was probably safe, so his macho side came out for a rare airing!
