Last night I went to let the cat in and upon opening the front door became aware of a really weird sound. It sounded like someone using a hard bristle brush on flag stones. I grabbed my trusty headtorch and went out to investigate. On reaching the fence by the side of the drive, where the noise was coming from, I spotted 2 hedgehogs being very 'friendly' with each other. I think that we'll be seeing baby hedgehogs before too long - who'd have thought that mating hedgehogs sound like bristle brushes on flags! Mind you, I suspect both parties would need to be careful about their respective spikey bits!
 
Spent two hours in the pub earlier chatting about hojojutsu, ropey stuff and judo
