...laughed why? well im not ugly at all i have been called cute and pretty and stuff but why did they laugh i just walked by them and they started smiling and staring at me laughing why what does that mean
 
i think his friends know that the guy likes you. So they wanna joke around.

they probably werent laughing at you....maybe the situation?...
and if they were they were probably just teasing the guy about how he likes you. girls do it too....
 
means that the guy that liked you has told them about you and knows about you.

his friends know he likes you. when you walked by they all probably thought it was funny because if he has a crush on you then his friends know he was drooling in his mind over you when you walked by which is funny hence why they laughed.
 
It probably means that guy's a player and he's playing you and telling his friends about it. I'd stay away from him at least until you can figure out if he's using you or not.
