Time Warner Cable or DirecTV?

We currently have twc and it straight up sucks! For those of you with directv is it any good? Is it worth switching to?
 
I think so. I've had it for more than 5 years...I live in SF where the weather isn't all that great...foggy, rainy...knock on wood, I've never had interrupted service.

My only non-issue with DirecTV is that special offers are only granted to new subscribers...however, I got them to give me a free DVR upgrade and other features because I asked for them, stating that I have been and continue to be a loyal customer.
