This religion started as a result of the Roman power probably during the 1st Century. These were the times when religion was the power that control the world. If you were not religious, you had no influence and as a result the Roman Empire monopolized on religion by integrating both greek philosophy and christian Theology. The fact that Philosohpy deals with reasoning of the mind and Theology deals with reasoning of the heart, the results created a pagan religion. This religion brought certain benefits to the christians while at the same time it brought reproach because of the wickedness that was done in the name of religion. Constantine put the icing on the cake when he began the reformation of the church - giving benefits to clergies and other religious christian groups and rejecting the unbelievers. Under Constantine the church prospered but resulted in a religious dogma - the catholic church.
