Clay Guida has lost many fights. But regardless of these losses, he never fails to give fans a good fight. That's why he's still a fan (and Dana White) favorite despite his record.

Both fighters are at different stages in their careers but i see the similarities you're talking about,they both have a lot of heart and a warrior mentality.I think we seen Arce's last big performance against Vasquaz because if he fights Donaire next he will probably be destroyed.Clay Guida has suffered some setbacks in his career but he's now in title contention after winning 4 in a row against names like dos Anjos,the fireball kid Takanori Gomi and former WEC champ and highly regarded Anthony Pettis.The rumor is that Guida could be facing Gilbert Melendez or the Edgar/Maynard winner!

Both have possess big fighting heat.

Both loved to entertain fans by giving all what they can give inside the ring.

Both easily got bloodied.

Both loved to trade punches.
