Why not close offices that are performing duplicate work and merge others that are doing similar work? Also why doesn't the government have an office that checks all contracts for items purchased by the government for increased pricing? With computer technology of today it should be pretty simple to check prices for gouging and then those suppliers, companies and personnel, should be banned from ever dealing with the government again.
