To watch a Blu-ray disc on my Laptop do I have to replace it's harddrive?

I have a Vaio- VGN-FJ270 I can't play a Blu-ray disc. Do I need to get some new software or replace something???
 
you might have to replace the optical drive. however blue-ray readers for laptops may be harder to find and will cost a lot.

Right now I can get 4x desktop ones for about 100 dollars. I remember seeing a 2x desktop one for about 250 dollars only about 6 months ago.
But anyway it will be expensive and not all laptops have their optical drive easily replaceable.
 
You need a Blu-Ray disc player. You will have to replace your CDROM drive with a Blu-Ray drive. They aren't cheap.
