Just watching the guided tour of France, seeing the different landscapes is lovely, even before thinking about the competitive aspects.
After all the doping scandals and resultant banishing of riders, and even teams, there should be an interesting race - how many can still make it without mother's little helper?
Amongst the Anglo-Saxon contingent, there's George Hincapie and the probable favourite, Cadel Evans.
