Torrent Port Help !!!?

when I'm using wifi connection in the campus, the proxy server doesn't allow me to download torrents but I can download direct links. I think the proxy server allows a few number of ports to us. So my question is can I download torrents through the port which downloads the direct link? Can I overcome this problem. I tried UltraSurf but it didn't work well. Please help me guys :(

Same here, My campus doesn't allow torrent either... Believe me if I say, I'm a Computer Engineer on progress and in the past 2 and half years if i couldn't find a way to download torrent, then there could be no way to overcome such proxy...

PS: my campus proxy even blocks download more that 25MB (though i have way to overcome that)
