...astert in the end? If you feel led to, please C.C and/or Comment on poem. Positive and negative c.c. are always welcome. This is one of three parts. The other two will be released later on in the day or at the latest on consecutive days. The poem is a re-post and minor edit of several months ago. Thanks, love and God bless......Thomas

Ice Fishing
Alaska
Tragedy

Off Western Coast of Alaska ice fishing
Facing Old Soviet Union days of wishing
“Tear down these walls” literal as gap in ice
Proud of country privileged to fight for twice

Ameliorate with Dad and brothers six
Each their own world to fish not intermix
Susurrus sounds cover with abated wind
No lido, cold resort staid for disciplined

State of art spandex first layer kept us warm
Primary use world class swimmers to transform
Haul of Salmon to bring home our loved ones
Time to drop bait were Dad and his six sons

Lines drop anticipate to fructify our strike
I looked over at Dad and saw a view I dislike
Why is he standing up with back to hole
Horror, perception lost, turned, lost his soul

Our Father felled into the dark, black, abyss

(To be continued)
