I was able to merge 113 .vcf file into one single .vcf file. I uploaded it to my gmail contact and it successfully showed 113 contacts with 113 phone numbers.
I tried four different methods:
1
Mail, Contacts, Calenders > Accounts - Gmail > "i set up my gmail account & password"
Connection to the email works. The con with this method is that there is no option to
turn on the contact" syncing. So this method doesn't work.
Before I do method 2, I deleted the account i created in method 1.
2
Mail, Contacts, Calenders > Accounts - Add Account...> Microsoft Exchange> "i set up my gmail account, password & set up the server to m.google.com"
Connection to the email works. The con with this method is that my uploaded contacts to the gmail account only show names of contacts without any number. I verified on my gmail account to see if phone numbers are missing from the names, but the contacts in my gmail contacts are fine. Bottomline: the names of contacts from gmail are synced, but NOT their respective phone numbers. Hence, this method doesn't work 100%.

Yahoo synching. I uploaded my vcf file to my yahoo contact list, and I was able to display the 113 names with the 113 phone number. I followed the following steps:
http://help.yahoo.com/l/us/yahoo/smallbusiness/bizmail/mobile/mobile-11.html
No success to connect...

I quickly attempted to upload my contacts to my university microsoft exchange online through the internet explorer browser, but I couldn't find an option. I don't have access to my microsoft outlook software since I don't have access to my desktop pc at home at the moment.
Am I doing something wrong? Do I need iTunes? I am transferring my contacts from a Nokia. I've already spent a lot of hours to figure this out and I'm getting tired of it. Thanks for any help!
(My next move will be to try iSync, i just found out about it, but it doesn't seem to support my phone model; i'll try it anyway to see if it can use my successfuly merged .vcf contacts file)
