I'm planning on taking a long road trip from Tacoma back home to San Antonio, TX next month. I have two routes to choose from. One is going south on I-5 until I hit L.A. anf then taking I-10 E. The other is going through the moutains (Idaho, Wyoming, Utah, Colorado, etc). The first one is obviously easier but longer with a lot of traffic. And the second route is shorter but harder to get through from what I heard. I was just wondering if anyone has had any experience going through these routes and can offer any advice to help make my decision before I head out.Thanks.
