I have permission to travel out of state, does a PO have access to any financial services? Like will he know where I book hotels, where I stay? Where I eat? Etc etc. Any answers will help. Not that I plan to break the law and go else where but I just want to know. Thanks!

Hello. First of all - this is very important - make sure you get this permission to travel out of state in writing. It doesn't have to be anything formal, just the basics - who, what, where, why and when. Do you have to call him and check in while you are out there. Make sure you understand what he expects of you. A friend of mine had permission but he was supposed to be by a certain date. Some BS happened and he couldn't get back. His PO claimed he was not aware of any trip and he violated his parole.

POs can get any information that the cops can. They need a court order to gather your bank info. If you say you are going to be at the No-tell motel on such and such a date, he can call and probably will call the front desk to see if you are registered. He trusts you enough to give you permission, so I wouldn't worry too much about this. Be prepared to show him receipts if he asks you for them. If you aren't supposed to drink, make sure you don't have cocktails or beers on your dinner receipts. Good luck.

Once you complete the Travel Permit, your Probation Officer and a Supervisor signs their approval along with any special instructions you are to follow and the date of your next report to the Adult Probation Office.

Questions on a Travel Permit:

a. Your name, address, date, current offense

b. Person/place to be visited with an address & phone number where you can be reached

c. Purpose of your travel

d. Leave and return dates requested

e. Method of travel, if automobile also need year/make/model

f. Names of anyone accompanying you

I don't see why they would need what hotels you are staying or what you are spending money on ect.
You should also check with your probation officer and this way there is no misunderstandings and later cause you problems.
To my knowledge all you need is a TRAVEL PERMIT, I hope this was helpful information.
Good luck
