Hello. First of all - this is very important - make sure you get this permission to travel out of state in writing. It doesn't have to be anything formal, just the basics - who, what, where, why and when. Do you have to call him and check in while you are out there. Make sure you understand what he expects of you. A friend of mine had permission but he was supposed to be by a certain date. Some BS happened and he couldn't get back. His PO claimed he was not aware of any trip and he violated his parole.
POs can get any information that the cops can. They need a court order to gather your bank info. If you say you are going to be at the No-tell motel on such and such a date, he can call and probably will call the front desk to see if you are registered. He trusts you enough to give you permission, so I wouldn't worry too much about this. Be prepared to show him receipts if he asks you for them. If you aren't supposed to drink, make sure you don't have cocktails or beers on your dinner receipts. Good luck.
