Trip help concernig passports and IDs?

OK so i went to the DPS today to get my ID and they just gave me a small paper that says my name and adds. Can i use this one for the Airport?

Also where do i get a passport?

IM going to a trip next wensday!!!
 
Takes 5 weeks or longer to get a passport. Even the express ones take a couple weeks. You can goto the post office to get the paperwork and get your picture taken and mail out the application from there.

If you are flying out of the US you NEED a passport to leave and re-enter. That piece of paper is not an accepted document for a travel visa.
