Trouble with a PC bluetooth dongle. Can I have some help?

I got a USB bluetooth dongle for my PC recently, so I could use my Metal Gear Solid 4 headset with my PC when I'm playing EverQuest 2. However, even though the dongle will recognize and pair with my headset, there's no way for me to configure Windows (running Vista, 64 bit) to set my headset as the default microphone. The only options it gives me are for wired mics, even though I can see that under Bluetooth Devices, my MGS4 headset is paired and activated. Anyone able to offer some advice or point me toward a site with an FAQ?
 
I don't have access to a Vista machine, but on XP you can go to Sounds and Audio Devices in the control panel.

From there you can set your default device for input and output (audio/voice tabs)
