The O2 sensor is not used at wide open throttle, the computer richens the mixture to help prevent detonation which exceeds the range the O2 can monitor. The MAP sensor could be your problem, as it (combined with the intake air temp, and throttle position sensor) picks up the duty of the O2, but should show a code if it's bad, I would say check your fuel pressure, injector pattern, timing, then the MAP.

Oh and the fuel filter has not been changed yet but the oil and filter have.
I have a 93 chevy C2500 3/4 ton with the 350 5.7 liter in it and I noticed recently that when given full or wide open throttle the truck sputters and looses power until you let off the gas about a inch or so then it stops sputtering and starts accelerating what could be causing this? My O2 sensor has been replaced along with rotor and cap and plugs but haven't replaced the plug wires yet would this cause it or is it something different? Any Ideas?

Gotta love spammers like Thomas. Fuel filter would definitely help. Could also be the Throttle Position Sensor . Have your fuel pressure checked
