trying to upgrade to iPhone on Verizon at discounted price?

I am not eligible to upgrade at the discounted price, but another line on my account is. Is it possible to buy the iPhone for the discounted price and switch it to my line?

Probably... THAT line's contract will be extended by 2 years... and it'll depend on whether you have a data pak on your primary line right now. You really need to talk to Verizon to be sure.
