I have a 22 month old (very old) pet mouse named Portia. She has been getting scabs all over her body recently and I've been giving her vitamin supplements and fish oil. Now, as she has begun loosing weight, I've noticed two tumors under her chin (glands), one on her back leg (above knee) and one above her elbow. I'm thinking this could be cancer. I lost another mouse to leukemia about a year ago, and I don't want to put Portia through that. The vet could not really do anything, but give a supplement. I'm worried that she may have lymphoma, as the tumors are only on her lymph areas. She just doesn't look good. I'm switching her over to a homemade diet and want to know if there is anything else I can do for her. I will take her to the vet, but I don't feel they can do much for a mouse. I've had her since she was 4 weeks old and I love her very much. Please, only answer if you have nice, helpful suggestions.
