Ughh, cell phone problem, PLEASE ANSWER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!?

Okay so i m soon turning 14 and I EXTREMLY[idk if i spelled that right] want a cell phone, i mean everyone has a cell phone at my school and my friends talk about like "omg, did u get the text message" and all and u no, i feel left out!! its very sad, and i asked my parents for one but they said not till i m 18 and if i say somthing to back me up on it they already have something ready and always win the arguement): i really need a cell phone by the end of THIS SUMMER,,, so if u have any ways i can convinve my parents, PLEASE HELP

Doesn't sound like you really need one in my opinion either. If you are giving your parents these same reasons for you needing one you will never convince them.

ok i wanted a cell phone too and my mom and dad said no every time i told them that i needed a phone so if i go to the mall how can i call u and after school when i need a ride and they said well use ur friends so i told them that (the name of my friend that didn'tt have a phone) iusuallyy hang out with and how can i call u do u want me to ask a stranger no ididn'tt think so lol it Works try!!!!!!!!!!!!

Join a club or the play or something where you need your parents to pick you up. Then, when they pick you up you can be like yeah it was hard for me to call you to pick me up because I didn't have a cell phone, ya know. So then, do not bug them about it but ask them about the whole cell phone thing, and how you need it for emergencies. What I did was I got locked outside of my house one day for 4 hours (my parents got home late) and I didnt have a cell phone to call anyone, so a week later they got me an "emergency only" cell phone for cases such as that. Then, just say stuff like a few phone calls with my friends wouldn't hurt, and they might take it into consideration. I started from emergency cell phone, then i got texting, then i got calling and its awesome. trust me, even the most strictest parents will loosten up if you convince them for the right reasons. good luck!
