unlocking lg xenon for tmobile?

I am wondering if i unlock the lg xenon for tmobile, will i lose certain features? i have had unlocked att phones for tmobile before but switched phones because i lost certain features lik sending / recieving picture messages. i never used the IM but i think i couldnt use that either.

Nope unlocking will never change any features from your phone.. Its also safe to get your phone unlocked using unlock code.. you can purchase such code from any vendors online like Unlocking4U.com
