losing apps and data? Hi all,
I'm looking to upgrade my ipad to the most recent (jailbroken) firmware possible. I believe 4.2.1 is jailbroken?
I previously jailbroke my ipad using greenpois0n. I don't want to lose my installed apps or data. Also would you guys say that the new 4.2.1 has been jailbroken "correctly enough" for the upgrade to be advisable? (no responses saying don't jailbreak you'll shorten your battery life etc - I know the risks and I'm not running overly CPU demanding apps - I happen to like the benefits of so doing - like flash support from frash :-D)
Is there some app I can use to backup my apps files and settings and to restore them on the new OS?
can I really trust itunes to do that? (I'm running itunes 9.2.0.61)

PS -note Jailbreaking *is* legal!! It frees you from being forced to get all your apps via the itunes store - and there are indeed legitimate free and paid apps out there which are not being sold through apple. I'm not long john silver you know!
