Upgrade Photoshop CS2 straight to the CS4 Master Collection?

I'm getting a chance to get the upgrade only of Photoshop CS4 Master Collection for free, but right now I only have CS2.
Can I upgrade my CS2 to the Master Collection without owning CS4 first, or will I have to purchase CS4 first?
