Upgrading T-Mobile cell phone through Target Mobile website?

Has anyone upgraded their T-Mobile cell phone through the Target Mobile website without meeting the eligibility requirement by T-Mobile? T-Mobile requires that you complete 22months of a 2year contract before being eligible for a full discount on a cell phone update.
