I've been on the Mirena for the last 3 years and I've loved it. Even though the pill had great side effects (namely clear skin), I went off the pill because I was inconsistent (which would increase the likelihood of pregnancy).
Now with my IUD, I don't worry about pregnancy, but I haven't found any other solution for my acne (even at 22!) that worked as well as the pill. Would it be inadvisable to take both at the same time?
