I have a PC with Win. 7 professional OS, 2 HDD assigned as "C" and "J" and DVD RW unit as "D". In disk management DVD is not shown and if I try to change J drive's letter E to I are not available on the list.
Is it possible to find these drive letters and reassign everything according to a classic mode as C,D,E and so on?

If a drive letter you need is already taken you assign that drive temporarily to something else. The drive letter you want should now be available. Then change the first one back to something else.

Go to the Control Panel, Administrative Tools, Computer Management, Storage, Disk Management, right click on the drives you want to change and select "Change drive letter and paths".
