uTorrent won't download any of my torrents, what can i do/whats wrong? the availability bar is red if that makes any difference? and no, i haven't accidentally paused or stopped the download.
also, i haven't set any form of cap, all bandwidth limits and set to unlimited.

have you set a bandwidth cap that maybe you've accidentally maxed out?

FIRST, put a download/upload cap. No matter what issue it is, put a cap. If you don't set one, the torrent can do what it wants and suck out your speed or connection quality. Never leave it at unlimited. You can set it high, you just shouldn't leave it unspecified.

It could be the website acting up. Try torrents off of another one and see if it is still like that.

However, according to uTorrent's forums, the most likely scenario is that you are running another program that is blocking it. Antivirus, malware detectors, firewalls - all of these do this. You likely need to set an exception for uTorrent after you find which program it is.

If none of these programs are doing it, I would recommend running these programs to check for alternative answers. Trojans can really mess with this sort of thing, and it's not the only one. Also many programs come with "complimentary" programs they try to hide, which can also mess with your network connection.

If that doesn't work, I would say to run a speed check website (there are many) and see if your upload/download rate is where it should be. If it's not, call your internet provider and say you're having issues with your account. You don't need to say it's from a torrent. There are multiple things that could affect it from this area: damaged router is one. If you notice that your internet speed slows for everything else when you try to download, then you are definitely having an issue that you need to address with the company.

If it doesn't work after all that, I would recommend trying another program. Sometimes computers just don't like uTorrent because it's not as well known by what the computer uses to protect itself. Something like Bittorrent is worth checking and seeing if it works.
