V6 Nissan Frontier Desert Runner - turbo?

I have a 2001 V6 Nissan Frontier Desert Runner, and it’s the workhorse of my fleet of cars but I have been thinking about putting a turbo or a supercharger in it… I was wondering if anyone has had experience with installing such an item in my truck… what are the pros and cons… I would like a bit more of a punch when I drive but I also like my truck being a truck… I have been in a military hummer and those have turbos and those things are awesome for being such a heavy solid truck… what major problems can I be dealing with by putting this on my truck??
