Vacation time with my 8 y/o son

Wow! I forgot how much fun Wet & Wild was. We spent the afternoon yesterday and all day today... What a blast. BTW - if anyone is planning to visit Orlando Fl - any time soon... be sure to stop at some of the natural springs - only $5 or $6 per vehicle. Real cheap way to entertain the whole family. Rock Springs, Blue Springs, Wekiwa Springs, De Leon Springs, Alexander Springs and a few others - all are great.

My son leaves for Cali' tomorrow morning - I miss him already...

... we did have a great time togother at all the Springs we visited and at Wet & Wild - we also went to the beach a couple of times and stayed a day at the Keys - with friends. I learned one thing about my boy - he is fearless when it comes to the water sports - swimming, diving, snorkling, etc. He jumps into and swims in waters - I am reluctant to do so myself, without fear of gators, sharks or anything else. He is my little monster - and I love him so much that my heart is breaking now - just knowing he goes back home tomorrow. He will return for a week during Chistmas and I can't wait til then.

Thanks to all of you - who gave me good advice - I listened/read and learned. Thanks again.

Just when you learn how to play the game - they change the rules...

I'll see him again - for CHRISTMAS - 1 week... Santa Clause will leave him a lot of goodies, no doubt. Regardless if he's been naughty or nice.

The rules are changed to rub you the wrong way.

You biggest defense or weapon is to remain cool and comply

I miss my boy... NOT even a coutesy call from the mom - just to let me know if he arrived O.K.

Scarey thing. My friend put his 18yr daughter on a plane. His ex wife called him to ask her whereabouts.

Her(daughter) cell phone was down.

After a frantic panic, she(daughter) called to say her plane was re-routed
