For 2 weeks... there wouldn't be a lot of electricity, I'm not bringing my playstation nor my games.. only my cellphone should keep my entertained. Or a book/magazine.
what else should I bring? Atleast so I don't get bored or anything (ahhh America -_-).

Oh and I'm going there because it's my dad's home country, and he wanted me to see it.

oh that will probably happen to me too! (my dads from egypt, but he would want to visit for a month or more)

anyway, you should bring your ipod and charge it (and your phone) whenever you can. youll probably be seeing family and the sites a lot so i wouldnt worry too much. two weeks...maybe you could teach yourself the banjo! bring card games so you can play solitare, or if you have any hobbies like drawing or something.

*Find out more about the culture.
*Talk to people.
*Try different kinds of food.

If it's safe, stroll around the central plaza in the evening and strike up a conversation with others killing time there. Remember to just ask questions about them and not talk too much about yourself.

Be positive and look forward to this experience, there's a lot of people who would love to be able to visit a third world country but don't ever get the chance.
