vacations for the long weekend?

this weekend for my scool is a long weekend so i am loooking for in country places to go to i will be leaving this friday and i live in virginia in the US and i am 13 so something fitting that and my mom and dad to
please have as much detail thank you
the long weekend starts on thursday the tenth and i have schoool monday so a short vacation

we like to sight see and we do want to go out of the state
 
You could try an amusement park. Maybe Hershey Park or Cedar Point?
