VCR and Dvd combination?

I have a VCR/Dvd machine. Its a big machine where one side is dvd and the other is for vhs. I was wondering if i could record the tv i see on dvd. The vcr side has a record button where as the dvd machine doesn't have one. Do u think if i used a dvd would it record the tv on the dvd thanks
 
That would depend on the model of your VCR/DVD Combo. However, most don't have that functionality. :(
 
Go to the makers website.It should be able to record the same signal as the TV, mine does.
