ok, my situation is that my verizon contract is supposed to be until March 23rd, which is like in 30 mins. But I paid my bill today that is due the 30th of Mar. I sent them an email asking about how to port out my number to another carrier since I'm not going to keep using verizon. The lady told me that the day that I request to port out my number and get it ported to my other carrier will be the actual date which my verizon contract ends. And FYI my account sasy my billing cycle ends Apr 4th.
So my question is:
1) is the amount of money I piad today supposed to cover until Apr 4th or not??
because if it's not, this means i will be charged another monthly fee if I wait until April to port out my number and I don't wanna make that happen.
I just want to save money because Im an intl student, and I cant afford to pay another verizon montly fee because its a bit too expensive. Please let me know what im supposed to do.
