On Wednesday, Alaska Senate President Gary Stevens (R) said is it "unlikely" that lawmakers could obtain enough votes to override Gov. Sean Parnell's (R) veto of funding that would have expanded Denali KidCare, a program that covers health care costs for low-income women and children, the Anchorage Daily News reports.
