Longtime NextAutos readers will no doubt remember the Japanese tuning house Wald, and its seemingly endless string of awesome Black Bison Edition vehicles. We’ve covered quite a few BBE’s by now, though we can honestly say that we never tire of seeing a new email from Wald in our inbox.
Today’s edition to the Black Bison posse—the convincingly not-badass Lexus RX. Be it in RX450 or RX450h hybrid guise, the Leuxs CUV can be described accurately with plenty of positive adjectives, but you’re not likely to find “mean” among them. Be that as it may, Wald’s BB strategy of adding a coat of noir, a full body kit, and serious wheels, does manage to make the RX into something, wild, fetching, and unquestionably cooler than the factory vehicle.
