i have to write a paper about the war in iraqi....can some one help me! whats the lastest on the war and what are the long term affects it will have on our country!? is anyone doing anything about it!? how did it start and why did it go on for so long!?!?!

With all my respects, you and other Americans should be open to hearing news about the whole world, not just about America, all the time.

As regards your paper, why don't you consider the effects of US colonization of Iraq, like:
-The ethnic mess in Iraq caused by US intervention directly
-Iraqi Oil: where does it go? How much have US companies gained from exploiting Iraqi oil?

Try to read the news instead of watching the elementary presentation of the biased American News Channels. Try to find a good quality English Newspaper like the Telegraph or Guardian. Go on line!
