the legend mr welles and abc radio did act of the h.g wells book war of the worlds on the radio. it air on october 30 1938. but here the thing though. when it air people didnt hear this is a play by orsen welles and book done by h.g. wells. what got people tune in is the news breaking and people thought real ufo where landing here and attcking earth. so people got into the cars and try to kill the so call aliens. real people where shot and kill and hung. or people just kill them selfs. and every time other news broke out they went to that spot and cause more rioits. people real thought ufo from mars where taking over earth. and they didnt know it was a radio show day before halloween. and all orsen wells was doing was taking stuff from the book and making it more real like it was really happing. but on october 28 1940 wells met h.g. wells which was the only meeting between those two. and at the time orsen wells was working with cbc radio and columbia broadcasting system. to this day no one knows the true body count on many lives where taken on that night. cause it seem so real. and that was mr wells wanted. make it look like it was happening. but look what happen during the after the math when they finally found out it was a radio show all this time. so dont call in just listen and remember. war or the worlds | hg wells | orsen welles | cbs radio | october 30 1938
